It would actually be so funny if the reason Daniil can’t make a vaccine in the P2 Artemy route is because Daniil’s whole method relies on locating people who have a natural resistance to the plague—aka the people who contract it and then don’t immediately die. But his method is useless when Artemy is going around helping random people survive the plague (he’s following his heart okay), so there’s no scientific rhyme or reason to the people who have resistance.
