Sibia Torres Padilla | DIYs on Instagram: "We went to California this weekend and I had this pretty yellow cloth so I decided to make a beeswax wrap out of it to take some snacks.

Here is what you need:

100% cotton cloth
1/4 beeswax pellets
About 1 tbsp coconut oil

Spread out your beeswax, sprinkle your coconut oil and bake for 3 minutes at 350. Then remove it before it dries up and dry it by swaying it back and forth for a few seconds or hang to dry.
Super simple right?!

I originally got this idea from @zerowastecartel and we have made these a few times now.

I will say that we don’t always use them. Depending on what we store we will use wax wraps, compostable cling wrap or good old fashioned containers with lids.

Hope this was helpful!
