In the 21st video in our van build series, we built our platform bed! We decided to go with a fixed bed and installed 2 sets of 48" piano hinges so that we would be able to access our garage storage from inside the van. We considered a bed-to-table conversion because it seemed like a really convenient use of space, but we love the storage space and ease of use that comes with having a fixed bed.
