Jen Shinjuku on Instagram: "Personally I'd avoid going to Japan in summer but if that's the only time you can go, then here are some tips to stay comfortable in the heat 🥵 FYI this assumes you'll be hitting up the normal tourist spots like Tokyo and Kyoto (up in the Japan alps or up north in Hokkaido will be a lot cooler obviously!) A rough guide per month: - June is the rainiest month so always have an umbrella with you - July is the real start of summer, with rain starting to die down in the latter part of the month and the heat increasing - August is peak typhoon season with super high humidity - September still feels more like summer than autumn, but the weather can be unpredictable. Be prepared for typhoons! #japantravelguide #japansummer #japantraveltips #traveljapan #japan2024 August Weather, Japan Summer, Hello August, Go To Japan, Japan Travel Tips, Japan Travel Guide, Summer Months, Tourist Spots, Summer Heat
