Planting trees to form an Arborvitae Pyramidalis privacy fence is a very effective way of creating a thick barrier behind which your life can proceed without the worry of being seen. The fence will grow over time, forming a stunning green wall that stays colorful even in the cold frostiness of winter.

I planted this hedge of smooth (Arborescens) hydrangeas in the fall of 2019. They were in a 1-gallon nursery pot when I planted them and they’ve put great growth over the past few years. Skye Hamilton • Home & Garden • Hydrangea Queen on Instagram: "In my opinion, the very best thing about using smooth hydrangeas in a front landscape, is the ability to prune them back so much in the winter. Smooth hydrangeas can take the hardest prune of any variety. I cut mine to between 15 -18 inches after we reach full dormancy ( consistently under 32° at night). Because I’ve planted wintergem boxwoods in front of them, they are camouflaged during the winter. I have @provenwinners Incrediballs across my front porch, but there are other smooth varieties to choose from. They can take full sun in zones 6a and lower, but need late afternoon and evening shade in 6b and higher. #hydrangeaqueen #ShareYourGarden #MyGardenThisMonth #HomeAndGarden #HomeAndGardenIG #Garden.ig #MyGardenToday #Gard Boxwood Hedge With Hydrangea, White Farmhouse With Hydrangeas, Raised Hydrangea Bed, Boxwood Trees Landscaping, Knockout Roses And Hydrangeas, Evergreens In Front Of House, Flower Beds In Front Of House Hydrangea, Front Of House Landscape Ideas Hydrangea, Front Porch Hydrangea Landscaping
