Mackenzie tartan

Part of a collection of 55 Scottish Clans, each has its own unique surname, tartan and motto. Surnames do vary in their spelling and some clans have more than one tartan. We chose one in each instance.This image will print up to poster size.

The tartan holds a very important place in Scotland's clan symbols, amidst clan motto and clan's heraldic icons. It's basically a unique pattern, called a "sett", in a structured series of coloured threads and traditionally, each Scottish clan has its own tartan.
