Second Day of Advent Peace The second Sunday of Advent holds a sacred significance, centering on the profound theme of peace. On the 4th Sunday of Advent, the 4th candle is lit, symbolizing love. This is a time to reflect on how much God loved us, that He sent His only Son to die for our sins to redeem creation that way we may have a renewed relationship with Him (John 3:16).
