One of our customers created a stunning, statement look in their disued fireplace with our black and white scintilla tiles.

The SLE60i has a generous 22 inch wide fuel bed with a continuous range of vision across the cosy flame pattern giving you maximum effect. All fires come with an intuitive remote, choice of coal or log fuel bed and the ability to adjust the flame and fuel bed brightness to create the perfect ambience. For efficient and automatic control, it also features a 7 day programmer.

Victorian fireplaces were initially made of marble or slate but later cast iron frames became popular and had colourful tile insets down either side and a decorative mantelshelf made of slate or pine. Early Victorian fireplaces had floral patterns in the iron casting but by late Victorian times the iron fireplaces were plainer with simple lines.

The third and final fireplace tiles (swipe to see previous attempts) When we first moved in the main bedroom fireplace didn’t have a hearth so I set about tiling it with some blue sunflower tiles.
