With learning what the different weather patterns are, it is just as important to understand what causes weather. Students can create this chart as a reference. Also I could turn this chart into a game where I add a spinner to the middle of the chart and call on groups of students to give an example of a weather pattern for whichever spot the pointer lands on.

Let me start by saying science has been seriously suffering this year :( With my crazy schedule, we literally have only 75 min a week to squeeze in science (or social studies, depending) and it is driving me bonkers. I read these books through out the few weeks that we were learning about weather. On the first day we did a KWL of what my scholars know about weather.
