Hey folks, this is Cam from The Present letting you know that Cam from The Past originally drafted this post all the way back in 2014. 2014! I think I was still 17 when I put this in my drafts and I remember grinning like an idiot the entire time. I was worried that Tumblr would either A) no longer exist period or 2) no longer support drafts by the time it was scheduled to post but I’m glad (and surprised) that neither of those ended up true.

I like your art style, so i wonder: have you ever thought of doing little toturial images about how you do anatomy, lineart, color or art related stuff?

Thank you, I appreciate it. I’ve never really considered tutorials honestly just because a lot of the way I do stuff is sorta random. My anatomy skills aren’t fantastic, I sorta scrape by, and with lineart I always prefer to use very coarse/realistic brushes (I use the Frenden brush packs for Clip Studio).
For color, I usually just come up with stuff at random, but I also keep the Wendigo Copic swatches open on the side just in case.
current mood: that tf2 video of the demoman that misses all 8 stickies, all 4 grenades and all melee swings, his entire team dies, and he waltzes onto the point to win the round
