Nathan Meyer
The ultimate goal of my work in Extension is to improve the lives of Minnesota citizens through the design and delivery of high quality natural resources education. The focus of my work is the research-based and strategic design of education programs that emphasize community-based innovation, effective teaching methods, informative curricula, and civic engagement. To this position, I bring a broad and applicable experience. I have taught youth and adults in classrooms, small nature areas, a college campus, and a remote 2,000 acre outdoor learning center. I have trained teachers and naturalists, managed and directed programs, hosted responsibilities for budgets, marketing plans and reports. I have served on local, state and national boards or directors. My teamwork, innovation and education programming has been recognized in a variety of ways throughout my career.
