We at Unvale (“Unvale” or “us”) take your privacy very seriously. Please read this privacy policy carefully as it contains important information on who we are, how and why we collect, store, use, and share your personal information. It also explains your rights in relation to your personal information and how to contact us in the event you have a question or concern.

Use of any of Unvale websites constitutes acknowledgement and acceptance of Unvale's Privacy Policy and Unvale's right to modify such Privacy Policy without additional notice.
a. Information you provide to Unvale.
We and our partners or service providers on our behalf (collectively, “Unvale” or “we”) collect certain personally identifiable information about you as well as other information when you provide it to us when you voluntarily complete or send registration pages, surveys, order forms, email, or otherwise use the Site.
Personal information: Personal information includes your name, email address, street address, company address, zip code, telephone numbers, and other information that may reasonably be used to identify you as a natural person. In this Privacy Policy, “your information” includes personally identifiable information unless we explain otherwise.
Identity information. birth date, gender, education level, marital status, occupation, employment information, personal and online interests.
Billing/Payment and Financial Data. Including your payment card or account number (such as a credit or debit card number), expiration date, and security code as necessary to process your payments. We may also collect tax information, taxpayer identification number, and other payment information, as applicable. We use Financial Information in order to operate the Unvale Site and to ensure that Artists are paid by Fans. We do this as necessary for our legitimate interests in providing our Site and services and to fulfill our contracts with Users. To keep your financial data secure, we have contracted with a third party to maintain and process your payment information.
Employment Information. We collect employment and education history, transcripts, writing samples, and references as necessary to consider your job application for open positions
Content and User Support Information. This means information you send us or another User in an email or chat message, or via upload, containing inquiries about the Unvale Site. We also collect content within any messages you exchange with other Users through the Unvale Site (such as through our chat functionality) or by uploading images, video and audio files.
b. Information from Affiliates and Non-affiliated Third Parties
We may collect non-personally identifiable and personally identifiable information about you through our affiliates or through non-affiliated third parties. For example, you may be able to access the Site through a social networking account, such as Facebook or Google, and those companies may share that information with us. We also integrate with third-party payment service providers, such as Stripe, to provide payments technologies. We may also collect information from publicly available databases such as public records or publicly available services maintained or offered by private parties. We may also receive your information in connection with a potential merger, acquisition, reorganization, change in capital structure, sale of all or substantially all of the assets of Unvale or any potential Unvale transactional partner

c. Information Collected Using Cookies, Web Beacons, and Other Technology
Unvale may use certain technologies (such as cookies, web beacons, and other technologies, including new and evolving technologies) to associate certain Internet-related information about individuals with information about such individuals in our database. Unvale may use other new and evolving sources of information in the future.
Usage information: Unvale may track usage information about how you use the site through its technologies increase the effectiveness of the advertisements it delivers. Examples of such information include advertisement responses, Sites that you visit before or after you visit our Site, and products that you purchase, your IP address, browser type, date, time and duration of visit and particular pages viewed, and other information as is permitted by law. You can prevent the collection of some of this information by disabling cookies, but if you disable certain cookies, the site may not work as described.
Purposes. For site maintenance, optimization, security and other legally permissible purposes, Unvale (or third-party service providers).
Evolving technology. The use of technology on the Internet is rapidly evolving, as is Unvale's use of new technology. As previously stated, Unvale reserves the right to change this policy at any time without any additional notice to the user. As a result, Unvale strongly encourages individuals to revisit this privacy policy from time to time for any updates regarding its use of technology.
d. Children’s Privacy
Unvale does not knowingly or intentionally collect any personal information about children under the age of 18. Because it does not knowingly or intentionally collect such information, to the best of Unvale's knowledge and belief, Unvale does not share or disclose such information with any third parties. Unvale has designed this policy to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe that we have collected information from your child in a manner not permitted by law, please let us know by contacting us here.
This Section 2 describes how Unvale currently uses your information, but Unvale may change or broaden its use at any time as permitted by law. As noted, Unvale may update this policy from time to time.
Operations. We use your information to operate and make the Site available to you and others; to connect you with other Users to enable the posting of, selection for, completion of, and payment for Projects, in order to fulfill our agreements with Users and our partners; to analyze Unvale Site usage as necessary for our legitimate interest in improving the Unvale Site to grow our business; to our legitimate interests in enforcing our Terms of Service and in ensuring our Agreement is complied with; and for our internal research and product development purposes.
Promotions. To provide promotional offers to individuals by means of email advertising, telephone marketing, direct mail marketing, and online banner advertising, among other uses.
Billing and Payment. For billing and fraud prevention, on the basis of our legitimate interests in ensuring a safe and secure environment in which Fans and Artists can meet and conduct business, and in order to comply with our legal obligations;
Anti-Fraud and Site Integrity. To conduct identification and criminal background checks, if applicable and to the extent permitted by local law, on Users, in order to advance our legitimate interests as well as for the substantial public interest of ensuring the safety of our Users both online and offline, preventing or detecting unlawful acts, protecting the public against dishonesty, and maintaining the integrity of the Unvale Site given that Artists often interact directly with Fans;
Communications. To contact you and deliver (via email, SMS, push notifications, or otherwise) transactional information, administrative notices, marketing notifications, offers and communications relevant to your use of the Unvale Site, with your consent when required under applicable law, as necessary for our legitimate interests in proper communication and engagement with our Users, and in promoting our business;
Support. To provide you and other Users with customer support; to fulfill our contracts with you and other Users; to troubleshoot problems on our site; in furtherance of our legitimate interests in ensuring a safe and secure environment in which Users can transact; to assist Users in the resolution of complaints and disputes between them, as necessary for our legitimate interests in facilitating good relations among Users
Marketing. For internal market research for our legitimate interest in improving the Unvale Site to grow our business; and
As otherwise set forth in the Agreement
Data Security. Unvale stores your information in a database on Unvale computers, or those of third-party service providers as directed by Unvale. Unvale computers, and those of third-party services providers, have physical, administrative, and technological security measures in place to reasonably protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of the information under Unvale's control. Notwithstanding such measures, Unvale cannot guarantee that its security measures or those of its third parties will prevent Unvale computers from being illegally accessed, or your information from being stolen, altered, or made available to persons other than Unvale and Site Users. You agree to hold Unvale harmless from any and all damages arising out of the loss or disclosure of your personal information if such loss or disclosure was not caused by an intentionally malicious act of Unvale or its employees. If there is a breach or otherwise unauthorized access to such information, Unvale will notify users and authorities where required by applicable law.
Data Retention. We retain personal data for as long as you are a User in order to meet our contractual obligations to you, and for such longer period as may be in our legitimate interests and to comply with our legal obligations. We may also retain data from which you cannot directly be identified, for example, we may replace your personally identifiable information with a randomly-generated identifier so we know the data relates to a single User, but we cannot tell who that User is. We use this kind of data for research purposes and to help us develop and improve our services, and we take appropriate measures to ensure you cannot be re-identified from this data.
We may disclose your information as described in this Section 4 to the categories of third parties who may process or otherwise use your information. In general, we contractually prohibit our third-party processors from retaining, using, or disclosing information about you for any purposes other than performing the services for us, although we may permit them to use information that does not identify you (including information that has been aggregated or de-identified) for any purpose not prohibited by applicable law.
Third parties to enable Site operations. Unvale will transfer your information to third parties, including other Users, to provide our services and to facilitate your transactions with third parties while using the Site or when responding to offers provided by Unvale. This information may include recordings of calls to or from Unvale or to and between users if conducted on the Site, for purposes of quality control, training, and to improve the Site. This includes internet and email service providers, identity verification providers, payment services, marketers and data analytics service providers, and others.
To third party advertisers. Companies who advertise their products or Unvale, and other companies who place advertisements on the Internet (collectively, “Advertisers”) generally may use their own cookies, web beacons, and other technology to collect information about individuals.
Third parties in connection with sale or reorganization of our business. Unvale may transfer individual information to third parties in connection with any merger, acquisition, reorganization, change in capital structure, sale of all or substantially all of the assets of any Unvale division or asset, or to an entity which becomes affiliated with Unvale through formation, merger or acquisition, in Unvale's discretion.
Government authorities or others in connection with legal process. We may disclose your information to respond to subpoenas, search warrants, court orders, or other legal process. It is our policy to provide notice to Users before producing their information in response to law enforcement requests unless (i) we are prohibited or otherwise constrained by law or court order from doing so, (ii) we have reason to believe the User’s account has been compromised such that the notice would go to the wrong person, or notice would otherwise be counterproductive or would create a risk to safety, or (iii) it is an emergency request and prior notice would be impractical (in which case we may provide notice after the fact).
In jurisdictions where Unvale is, according to applicable law, required to collect or remit information about Users’ permits, licenses, tax, or social security registrations, Unvale and our Third Party Agents may disclose information, including but not limited to, User contact details, identification information, transaction dates and amounts, license and permit status, and tax identification number(s) to applicable governmental authorities.
We also reserve the right to disclose your information from both private and public areas of the Site in the absence of a court order, warrant, or subpoena, to the extent permitted by applicable law, if we are given reason to believe, in our sole discretion, that someone is causing injury to or interfering with the rights of Users, the general public, or Unvale or its partners, parents or affiliates.
You may opt-out of receiving promotional communications from us, including promotional communications related to the Unvale Site, and request the removal of your personal information from our databases, or deactivate your account, by logging on to the Site or App and clicking on the “Account” tab, or by contacting us at support@unvale.io .
Some Internet browsers include the ability to transmit “Do Not Track” signals that give you control over the collection and use of web browsing information. Because uniform standards for “Do Not Track” signals have not yet been adopted, we do not process or respond to such signals in users’ web browsers at this time.
Corrections to Account. You have the right to access, update, and correct inaccuracies in your Unvale account at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Account” tab. There, you can view, update, and correct your Account information. We may restrict the right to change information relating to transactions conducted or to preserve the integrity of our Site.
Promotional Communications. By registering as a User on our Site, you consent to receiving promotional communications. In addition, you can opt out of email marketing by clicking on the unsubscribe link in any message. You can opt out of promotional communications from Unvale sent via text message at any time by following the instructions provided in those messages. Please note that your opt-out is limited to the phone number used and will not affect subsequent subscriptions from different phone numbers. If you opt-out of only certain communications, other subscription communications may continue. Even if you opt-out of receiving promotional communications, Unvale will continue to send you non-promotional communications, such as those about your account, Projects, transactions, servicing, or Unvale’s ongoing business relationship with you. If you receive unsolicited promotional communications from a Unvale domain, please let us know here.
a. California Consumer Privacy Act
The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) provides additional rights to know, delete and opt out, and requires businesses collecting or disclosing “Personal Information” (as defined in that statute) to provide notice of rights California residents have and can exercise. While at the time of this posting Unvale is not regulated by the CCPA, it complies with its obligations under that law to the extent feasible. Therefore, we provide these additional disclosures for California residents and may provide the.
Notice of Collection. We have collected Personal Information corresponding to the following categories enumerated in the CCPA, including within the last 12 months.
For more information on what we collect, including the sources we receive information from, review Section 1, Collection of Information. We collect and use these categories of personal information for the business purposes described in Section 2, Use of Information, including to provide and manage the Unvale Site.
Unvale does not generally sell information as the term “sell” is traditionally understood. However, to the extent “sale” under the CCPA is interpreted to include advertising technology activities such as those disclosed in Section 2, Use of Information, as a “sale,” we will comply with applicable law as to such activity.

We use and partner with different types of entities to assist with our daily operations and manage the Unvale Site. Please review Section 4, Information Sharing, for more detail about the parties with which we share Personal Information.
Right to Know and Delete. If you are a California resident and if our business is covered by the CCPA, you have the right to know certain information about our data practices in the preceding 12 months. In particular, you have the right to request the following from us:

The categories of sources from which the Personal Information was collected;
The categories of Personal Information about you we disclosed for a business purpose or sold;

In addition, you have the right to delete the Personal Information we have collected from you. However, this is not an absolute right and Unvale may have legal grounds for keeping such data.
To exercise any of these rights or to determine if our business is covered by the CCPA, please submit a request at support@unvale.io. In the request, please specify which right you are seeking to exercise and the scope of the request. We will confirm receipt of your request within 10 days. We may require specific information from you to help us verify your identity and process your request. If we are unable to verify your identity, we may deny your requests to know or delete.
Right to Opt-Out. To the extent Unvale sells your Personal Information as the term “sell” is defined under the CCPA, you have the right to opt-out of the sale of your Personal Information by us to third parties at any time. You may request to opt-out by clicking Do Not Sell My Personal Information and informing us of your choice by emailing support@unvale.io.
Authorized Agent. You can designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. However, we will require written proof of the agent’s permission to do so and verify your identity directly.
Right to Non-Discrimination. To the extent Unvale is a covered entity under the CCPA, you have the right to non-discriminatory treatment by us, should you exercise any of your rights.
b. California Consumer Rights Notice.
