To keep the tourism business sustainable, the government and other relevant stakeholders must allocate a sizable budget. Consequently, waqf is one way to lessen reliance on government funding. Waqf, in general, refers to assets that Muslims willingly donate and plan to use or grow for the good of the community. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the tourism industry and the economic, social-cultural, environmental, and transversal pillars are significantly correlated. It also looks at how waqf moderates the relationship between the tourism sector's sustainability and the economic pillar. Both quantitative and qualitative methods are used in this methodology. Quantitative data were obtained from 150 respondents, and qualitative data were collected through interviews to verify the quantitative findings. The results show significant positive relationships between economic, social-cultural, environmental, and transversal pillars with tourism industry sustainability. The result also demonstrates that waqf moderates the relationship between the economic pillar and tourism industry sustainability. The implications of waqf would contribute to essential services to the community. This had many significant impacts on the economy as a whole and the sustainability of the tourism industry itself. Waqf can reduce the budget deficit, decrease the need for government borrowing, and decrease the interest rate, thereby removing a significant impediment to private and investment growth.

Priority for food safety addresses issues in enhancing food safety systems in terms of exporting countries, contribution to consumers' health and protection and advancement on food regulations and standards. Not all food industrial companies are able to follow demands highlighted by international bodies. M any developing countries lack the resources to participate in international trade because of the difficulties in complying with t he requirements of the food safety standards. The underlying reasons for this are outdated laws, lack of knowledge in terms of limited coordination between organizations handling food safety issues, under-funding of national research institutes and lack of awareness for standards and quality. In moving towards the development of standards, consumer participation to demonstrate their concern over the quality and safety of food is correspondingly on the rise. In every aspect of food production, the company is required at each step in the food production chain to ensure food safety standards are not compromised and to show compliance with regulatory and customers' requirement. In an attempt to address the issue of compliance with international standards, this paper will set to discuss international food chain perspective including food quality assurance in production processes, hazard characteristics in the production and distribution of food and generic food quality and safety standards. T he aim of this paper is to identify public and private food safety and quality standard internationally and implementation of food quality standards in three different regions. At the end of this paper, the researchers seek to highlight some significant findings on quality assurance in the food industry and its benefits to consumers globally.

The researcher identified a need to change how food is produce as one factor of production challenge. The impact has become critical when involves in livestock farming where need 70% of agricultural land includes water to feed growing population. Consumption challenge discussed in terms of dietary changes of consumer. As incomes rise, people’s food preferences are changing, and food production may need to increase up to 60-110% by 2050. In other perspectives, reduced consumption of livestock products would benefits health. The concern on food system transformation lies on the outcome of unequal relationships between producers and consumers; countries and communities. As this is part of socio-economic challenge ,this inequality gives rise in terms of agricultural inputs and health (obesity and hunger), This is the challenge to the food producer, food industrial, farming unions and agricultural businesses as to ensure the food sustain for the next generation. The perspective in this research, perhaps will lead to new solutions that can applied in Malaysia food practices.
