Gemeenten en zorgaanbieders staan vanwege de transities voor de opgave een nieuw stelsel van maatschappelijke ondersteuning op te bouwen en in te richten. Dit vraagt onder andere meer samenwerking en integrale dienstverlening aan burgers en wijkgericht werken. Een fundamenteel andere manier van denken en handelen is hierbij noodzakelijk, met daaraan aangepaste werkprocessen. De nieuwe Jeugdwet, WMO en Participatiewet hanteren de sleutelbegrippen participatie en eigen kracht. De inhoudelijke richting mag dan steeds duidelijker worden, de manier waarop de professionals in (buurt)teams zich moeten vormen en ontwikkelen is dat nog allerminst.

The paper concerns a longitudinal study (fifteen years) into recent history of university transformation and distributed academic leadership; the study aimed at identifying good practices and explore conceptual and analytical frameworks to understand emergent research strategy development, distributed leadership and its interrelation with transformation of research organisations.

In this workshop with some 30 students in their final phase of the master Industrial Design, notions were introduced to understand the changing context (eCulture) and conduct scenario writing with the help of  museum archetypes and customer journey mapping.

The paper has a twofold angle. It presents a longitudinal study (fifteen years) on emergent research organisations in which distributed leadership constellations are key to understand competing value dynamics in innovation and valorisation networks. And it is the uptake to a book (due Summer 2016) on valorisation in emergent ecosystems of Universities of Applied Science (UAS).
