Because my audience has reached a certain size, since late-March 2025 I do not reblog things in opposition unless it already has at least 50 notes to avoid dogpiling. If you want me to delete a reblog, DM me.

male (she/her)
Trans women are women and should not generally be referred to as male, but I do not identify strictly as a woman in the same sense as most trans women. I AM a trans woman, but I choose to identify with the word ‘male.’ I am non-indicative of others.

If you send me an ask, please don’t give details about hate crimes or laws being passed. I also request that you not bring up paraphilia or AI discourse. Other than that, feel free to discuss your experiences in my inbox. Because of how many I get, I have to be just a bit selective, but I try to answer at least most of them. I may answer immediately, I may answer in awhile, and I may be picky if a lot of people are sending in about one topic all at once. If I never get around to it, I read it and I appreciate that you sent in and wanted to share your thoughts with me. Thank you for being patient and understanding. <3

Sexual stuff is tagged #vexatious and nsfw reblogs are also tagged #nsfw. Discourse posts are tagged #discourse. My content warnings are all in the format of #cw [x]. I struggle with anger and posts where I’m outright furious are tagged #so angry about so many things.

Asks about the subject of kink are fine, but I prefer you have more to say about it than just that you have one so my inbox doesn’t get too drowned with similar asks.

Fem-attracted White-American. We’re a mixed faith endogenic system called the Valence Shell, but you’re free to treat us as the singlet Vasiliki Velvet by default.

I post a lot about queer allyship, as an AMAB perisex trans woman, and I’m passionate about BDSM rights as well. I’m anachronistically displaced with the 2000s and that kinna aesthetic is a huge percentage of non-discourse you can expect to see here.

For several reasons I often use they/them for virtually everyone without really thinking about it. I assure you there’s no malice involved and I ask that you please charitably assume good faith because it’s something I have hard time with.

You say “generally binary”… have you encountered a non-binary person with the position gender roles are the goal to shoot for???

I mean, it’s theoretically possible, depending on how hard you wanna stretch the definition of “gender role.” Perhaps someone wants a very stereotypical presentation of non-binary for themselves? Or maybe they could be attracted to certain gender roles of one kind while still not being that gender, like I am with a bunch of masculine stuff.

It's definitely true that a lot of trans women are expected to top by default, and it's definitely a real problem, but I think it's very weird of TRFs to imply that it's because being a bottom is "the woman position." Like, I thought we were all in agreement that unnecessary gendering of concepts was a bad thing?? But now it's apparently "progressive" to be bioessentialist about fucking everything.

Like, yes, obviously you should ask your sexual partner(s) what position they want to be in and not force them to do anything they don't want to. But it's very obvious that that's not the issue a lot of TRFs have with this phenomenon, and instead think it's bad because "obviously" all women are inherently bottoms and vice versa. Women can NEVER top, that's a man's job. How dare you imply that a woman could possibly want to be sexually dominant instead of a poor little wilting flower to be used as a fleshlight by a big, masculine man's man. And don't even THINK about saying that some women actually enjoy using their penis during sex. Everybody knows that all trans women HATE their penis and would rather cut it off with garden shears than put it inside their sexual partner. 🙄

It's absolutely possible to address issues like this without being a raging sexist, but apparently it's too hard for them.

Dysphoria eats some people alive. And as always this is true of transmascs as well, a lot of trans people, generally binary for obvious reasons, see gender roles as the goal to shoot for, and assume it of everyone else.

I'm envious that you've never experienced the kind of socioeconomic precarity that many trans women do, the kind that causes us to understand degendering and excommunicating as capable of leading directly to physical harm. "Social murder" looks kinna different for those of us in states of food and housing insecurity.

I go more than a day a week nearly without anything to eat* and am trying at the moment to figure out the seemingly impossible logistics of getting out of where I’m at, with zero friends, where I go most days without sharing a single word with another human being in physical space. Also, I was lolcow’d hard enough to have left me severely traumatized in a way that affects my functioning even after so many years have gone by.

So, like, idk, maybe you’re just emo and want the most emo name for when you experience consequences of your actions. Like literally a TRF on here told me to kill myself twice and when I checked her blog’s archive on a hunch that proved to correct I saw her first post was “I got termed again! Presumably for talking about transmisogyny!”

Anyway, she got termed yet again for that, very funny.
