I have some calebmc takes during their days of college :3

pathetic and loser behavior from both of them tbh.(slight angst warning!!!)

mc who lies to caleb by saying that she’s going to be busy and plans a surprise visit to him in skyhaven and asks gideon for help by asking his schedule for the day and gets there.

mc who sees caleb and smiles when she thinks about how caleb will react when he sees her so she turns her location that they were sharing off and gets excited to greet him. she has yet to text gideon of her arrival so he can help her out but that’s okay since he’s also there with him.

mc who suddenly halts in her footsteps and her smile drops when she sees a girl wearing a matching pair of hoodie that clearly, only HER and Caleb own. with the matching pair of her part in her college apartment and caleb still having his. the girl seems to be feeling caleb up and laughing which makes her stomach twist and turn in ways she doesn’t like so she turns on her heel away with a throb in heart but bumps into someone.

mc who realizes it’s one of her college friends who’s sister lives in skyhaven and he’s also there for visit and he offers his sisters house for them to stay at since it’s late and he doesn’t want her traveling back to linkon all alone. reluctant, but she accepts the offer and stays at his sisters house and soon actually becomes really good friends w his sister and realizes she’s a lesbian. said friends sister tells her she’s hosting a party the same night and she should definitely drink to get her mind off her problems and offers to even introduce her girlfriend to mc who happily accepts.

mc who gets tipsy at the said party with her friend keeping watch on her as his sister walks in with her girlfriend to introduce her to mc, only for her to realize the girlfriend is wearing the EXACT same hoodie she saw the girl feeling caleb up wearing.

mc who feels a sudden guilt because she realizes the girl she got upset over was a huge misunderstanding and she starts to feel more depressed only for caleb and gideon to appear behind her shocked as hell to see mc there at the party.

worried caleb who was going batshit insane over mc not answering his calls and having her location turned off jumps at mc and her friend watching over her demanding the dude takes his hands off his girl (dude is just patting her back and making sure she doesn’t drink much😭) and demands to take her back to his apartment because why should she ever stay at any other man’s house when he’s there?

drive back is so silent and awkward but when they reach home, anxious and worried caleb who was going crazy all day and was dragged to that damned party finally hugs mc to express his concerns and softly scolds her to never pull such a stunt ever again. mc who’s too embarrassed to admit and tell caleb the truth stays quite which leads them into getting into a small argument which leads to mc finally admitting the truth of what really happened and reveals that she’s sorry because this could’ve potentially tarnished caleb’s reputation and ruined the “fact” that they established to everyone that caleb was dating mc to keep his fan girls away.

caleb who’s heart is JUMPING INSIDE HIS CHEST, giggles and assures mc that there never has or will be any other girl besides her in his heart and life and the tension of the moment leads to a kiss, and then one thing and another and halfway ends up with mc passing out in the middle of the makeout session due to being super tipsy from the party.

mc who wakes up the next day with only half of her memory and does NOT remember the kiss and everything else, confused as to how she even ended up in caleb’s apartment, somewhere relieved confronts him and he tells her the truth, completely excluding the part where they kissed, only for her to remember it later and they NEVER bring it up, therefore the tension always stays and they never truly get together officially until their adulthood😭(post explosion)
