Data including Cartosat-1 digital elevation model (DEM), Landsat 8 satellite images, lithology, geology, soil, and water yield data were utilised in this study. The relative importance of multiple parameters including lithology, soil, slope, geology, rainfall, drainage density, and land use/land cover (LULC) that influence the availability of groundwater was determined subjectively. Analytical hierarchy process (AHP) along with pair-wise comparison decision theory was utilized to calculate the weights for each aforementioned parameter. The delineated GWPZ were categorized into four classes viz., very good zone (31.57%), good zone (45.43%), moderate zone (13.09%), and poor zone (8.53%). The sensitivity analysis indicated lithology and soil type as the most and least sensitive parameters, respectively influencing the presence of groundwater in the...
We propose the existence of an acceptor-like trap at positive polarization interfaces in p-type I... more We propose the existence of an acceptor-like trap at positive polarization interfaces in p-type III-nitride semiconductor heterostructures, using N-polar p-type GaN/AlN/AlGaN superlattices as a demonstration platform. Metal Organic Vapor Phase Epitaxy was used to grow all samples, with a p-type modulation doping scheme using Mg as the dopant. The samples were characterized using X-Ray Diffraction and room-temperature Hall measurements, and energy band-diagram simulations were carried out using STR FETIS ® and Silvaco packages. For higher doped samples (Mg> 1.5×10 19 cm -3 ) with thinner AlN interlayers (≤ 0.7 nm), the total sheet charge measured using Hall measurements agreed with the value observed in standard simulations without invoking any traps, whereas, for lower doped samples(Mg< 1.5×10 19 cm -3 ) and those with thicker AlN interlayers (≥ 0.7 nm), the measured charge was very high compared to the value obtained from simulations and higher than the Mg doping in the films. The higher charge was attributed to the existence of an acceptor trap at positive polarization interfaces which became ionized at lower doping and/or at higher AlN thicknesses. A consistent ionization energy of the trap was obtained by comparing the energy band diagram with and without acceptor traps with the experimental results. This work also elucidates, the source of charge balance in p-type samples with insufficient or no Mg doping. III-nitride semiconductors are the preferred materials system for next-generation electronic devices, serving the needs of advanced communication systems, power conversion and energy conservation, by enabling compact and affordable electronic systems across broad markets 1-6 . Advances in p-channel electronic devices are desired to realize the full spectrum of advantages this materials family offers. As holes in GaN intrinsically suffer from a lower mobility (~10 -20 cm 2 /Vs) compared to that of electrons (1000 -2000 cm 2 /Vs), 7 a higher concentration of holes is required to achieve similar currents in p-type field effect transistors (FETs) as in n-type FETs. Although there have been multiple approaches to achieve high conductivity p-channel devices using III-nitrides 8-13 , the FET with the highest reported oncurrent utilizes a p-type uniformly doped AlGaN/GaN superlattice (SL) uniformly doped with magnesium (Mg) 14 . Previously we have investigated both p-type uniformly doped and modulation doped AlGaN/GaN superlattices . Instead of Ga-polar materials grown in the typical c or (0001) growth direction, this work uses N-polar samples grown in the -c or (000-1) direction, as significantly sharper Mg doping profiles were previously observed in this case. 17 It therefore enables the accurate placement and control of Mg doping within the structure, achieving higher mobilities via modulation doping, as shown in previous studies . AlN interlayers in AlGaN/GaN high electron mobility transistors (HEMT) result in higher charge and mobilities in the two-dimensional electron gas channels . Using the same

This is the name of youth dormitory of the Oraon tribal community of Jharkhand. It provided training in socio-cultural, politicoeconomic and religious grounds, along with mores of collective living. Dhumkuria encouraged learning by doing, as well as teaching while learning-to younger and from elder cohorts, simultaneously. Here, knowledge was mostly orally accumulated, education was an act of sharing skills and values for collective and harmonious living and pedagogy was dialogical and coconstructive. However, this practice was lost due to cultural changes, outmigration, impact of formal religious practices and then encouragement given by Colonial and Indian Government to formalised schools and colleges. Also, for intellectuals and knowledge brokers, working within positivistic framework, youth dormitories like Dhumkuria represented backwardness and promiscuousness. Such epistemic violence humiliated tribal communities and eroded several of their institutions and practices. Nevertheless, in the last few years there has been an attempt to resurrect pivotal tribal institutions. Hopefully, we can undo the wrong and change public perception and policies to encourage marginalised communities and their youth.

There is a great deal of wear in metals, used widely in machines and appliances. The gradual loss of the upper metal layers in all metal parts is inevitable over the machine or component’s lifetime. Artificial intelligence implementations and computational models are being studied to evaluate different metals’ tribological behavior, as technological progress has been made in this field. Different neural networks were used for different metals. They are classified in this paper, together with a description of their benefits and inconveniences and an overview and use of the different types of wear. Artificial intelligence is a relatively new term that uses mechanical engineering. There is still no scientific progress to examine various metal wear cases and compare AI and computational models’ accuracy in wear behavior.

It also minimizes traffic congestions and carbon emissions. Currently, most of the existing ride-sharing services rely on a central third party, like Uber, Ola, Didi which charges high service fees. In this paper, we are using blockchain technology to build a smart ride-sharing platform - CypherCab. All the services from registering as a driver, to using this platform for ridesharing will be written directly to the blockchain distributed ledger. Utilizing the decentralized nature of blockchain, the data stored in the blocks will be stored in a distributed ledger, hence removing the dependency on a central third-party server. Moreover, blockchain enables us to remove intermediaries and allows direct transactions between the driver and passengers. Fuel cell (FC) is the most environmental friendly device that uses hydrogen and oxygen to generate electricity without leading to pollution. The benefits of FC are almost zero pollutant emission and low noise emission. The development of powerful fuel stacks has increased the need to integrate them into power systems. In this paper we develop and study the behavior of a fuel cell fed 3 phase induction motor, simulated under different load conditions along with a 40kW load present in the system. A combination of fuel cells having a maximum power of 135kW has been connected to boost converter and three-phase inverter (with an inverter controller). Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) controller has been used to operate the fuel cell at maximum power point (MPP) by changing the operating voltage according to the load conditions. Fuzzy logic controller has been used in inverter voltage control to improve the efficiency of fuel cell. The behavior of a 5HP induction motor and a fuel cell system at different stages of operation has been discussed.

Most of the patient at the time of diagnosis has shown metastasis. Metastasis to bone leads to various skeletal-related events such as fracture and neural compression leading to increase morbidity in such patients. An early diagnosis leads to favorable outcomes. Skeletal metastasis is usually presented as osteoblastic localized lesion in the spine or pelvis. Here, we like to present a case of prostatic metastasis in a patient with widespread metastasis making the diagnosis in such condition a challenging issue. Case Report: A 61-year-old male comes with a complaint of right hip pain who has been diagnosed in some other clinic as a case of osteopoikilosis after an X-ray of the pelvis with both hips. However, on the further skeletal analysis found to involve most of the skeletal system with the diffuse osteolytic lesion. A bone scan, lab investigations helped ...

This issue is achieved by several error resilience/concealment techniques, to deal with packet losses. Whereas, these typical techniques are not suited for streaming video transmission which requires high quality. In fact, since the H.264 standard provides different type of frame, these techniques don't give high priority to I frames. Moreover, video transmission over error prone channel has increased greatly. These facts provided the necessary to propose a new technique to deal with errors in video streaming over noisy channels. In this paper, we propose a novel technique, named novel robust decoding algorithm-aware channel conditions for video streaming (denoted as RDVS). The main idea of RDVS is to estimate CAVLC sequence by exploiting the bitstream structure and the semantic property. Through simulations, we show that the RDVS outperforms the H.264 standard.
