One of many things I don’t understand in the Skam NL fandom is people saying that Jayden and Kes must know Lucas is gay, that there’s no way they actually believe he’s straight even though he has given them no reason to think anything else. But apparently it’s so blatantly obvious and everyone should be aware of it, which????? Makes NO sense. Like, what the hell makes you say that? Is it because he’s pretty? Because he wore a pink sweater two times? Or is it because he’s close to Kes? By that logic, the characters in the show should think Kes is gay as well since he was very touchy feely with Lucas as well, it was a two way street, or does that not work for you cause you don’t actually give a shit about a character being LGBT+, but you do give a shit about your fantasy of Lucas being a subby little femme twink? What on earth has he done that would make the characters suspect anything other than look the way he does? I’m just so confused.

If we didn’t get the last clip in S1, with the google searches and all that, we probably wouldn’t suspect anything either, so why are you so convinced that everyone around him is aware of his sexuality?

and I know that he’s just waiting

for that to happen

so he can brand me red with the blood

he drips and he’ll whisper

don’t tell me I didn’t warn you

about the dangers of a gentleman.”
