Al-Afia was involved in a traffic accident that severely damaged her foot, leaving her with painful fractures and deformities. The treatment she has received so far has not succeeded in improving her condition. Her foot gas stopped growing completely and now Al-Afia requires specialized care and rehabilitation. Al-Afia is only 13 years old and she risks losing her foot if her family cannot afford to travel outside of Sudan to get her the care she needs.

Please support Al-Afia's family in their evacuation and seeking treatment for her. Your contribution and shares will help bring them closer to their goal.

I take care of stray animals who have no home and no family. Because of the war, there are more such animals: the owners abandon the animals or, unfortunately, die. The last post about animals got few reblogs and only two donations from regular donors (thank you!).

We still need help. There are many animals. While they don't have a home, they need food and treatment! I am not from a rich family, so I cannot feed and cure everyone by myself. My friends from Ukraine and you are helping me. It will be worse without your help.

We found kittens, while they don't have a family, they need food. They all need care. But, unfortunately, most people in my little town are indifferent to animals (not all, there are other volunteers, but they are very few). Please don't be like them!

Please, I don’t think I have a lot of people on here, but my aunt recently lost her home in the Eaton Fire in SoCal. I go outside, and there’s ashes in the air and I know it’s all parts of the neighborhood I used to walk around in. I would go from friend’s house to friend’s house and I can’t stop thinking about how their parents used to feed me and take care of me just because Altadena has that small town feel.
