Please, I don’t think I have a lot of people on here, but my aunt recently lost her home in the Eaton Fire in SoCal. I go outside, and there’s ashes in the air and I know it’s all parts of the neighborhood I used to walk around in. I would go from friend’s house to friend’s house and I can’t stop thinking about how their parents used to feed me and take care of me just because Altadena has that small town feel.

building a home is a dream we all at some point at least humored, now more than ever it has become impossible to secure a place you can call yours on this earth without having to fight for it, i cannot imagine having to endure and have it torn apart while the world looks away.
i have tried for months to help kholood's campaign (@kholoodpals) but we just can't gain traction for it, it's a very small goal that was meant to start a healing process and give them a chance to get care and maybe relocate outside, however with all the decisions forced upon palestinians after the ceasefire, leaving can mean not going back ever, so many have decided to delay much needed care for the sake of rebuilding and have taken up rents that are insanely high without mentioning other necessities particularly those not met during the attacks of the zionist entity. consider all thing in helping my friend and her family, please.
