The Cate Blanchett Birthday Project 2025

For the past 11 years, I have been collecting with Cate Blanchett fans around the world in order to make something special for her birthday.

This work of collaboration means a lot to me. It’s a proof people from different cultures and perspectives, can come together and unite around something they love. It’s also a proof we can achieve all of our dreams if we work hard on them.

I am super excited to share with you all the creation of 70 creative fans around the world.

Welcome the 2025 (11th) Cate Blanchett Birthday Project!

Every year, for the past 11 years I’m collaborating with Cate Blanchett fans together in order to make something special for her birthday. And I am super excited to say that we have made 10 successful birthday projects together which has ALL arrived to Cate.

Cate Blanchett has influenced me and many more people through the years and this project is my way to say: Thank You. This year the project will surround HOPE.

I think that collaborations create hope.
Hope gives us the wish to change and make a better world.

this year i will ask you to send me a handwritten sentence that will later create a mosaic of different cultures.

All you need to do, is to write : Thank you for __
and complete the sentence with your own words.

In your email please also answer the following questions:

• What’s your name
• How old are you
• Where are you from
• What’s your native language

I will make out of the texts and answers a short video that will demonstrate how Cate was able to bring so many people from so many cultures TOGETHER.

Some important points:

• Please DO NOT use cursive writing so it would be as readable as possible.
• The final project will be a short video that includes your texts and answered questions in a creative way.
• THE FINAL PROJECT WILL BE POSTED ONLINE: So don’t get too personal. Everyone who wants to see the project, will be able to do so.

How does it work?

• Send an email with your Name, Age & Country
• Mention in the email if you joined any of the previous projects and if yes please do mention the year.
• Send your text (take a pic of it) and answer the questions.

Rules:

• Keep an appropriate language
• Letting you know the project will be released ONLINE

• Who can participate the project? - Everyone who wants to.
• Can I send a picture of myself with a happy birthday poster? Not this time.
• Can you guarantee Cate will receive the project? - sadly not, but we will try our best to make this work.

Catherine Ravenscroft, a television documentary journalist whose work has been built on revealing the transgressions of long-respected institutions.

                                         Project | 2024

For the past 10 years I have been collaborating with Cate Blanchett fans around the world in order to make something special for Cate’s birthday.

As the years go by, I find this project has grown to be more and more
meaningful to me. It’s not just a way to thank Cate and pay homage to her outstanding work, but also, a way to see how she has influenced so many people around the world.

It hasn’t always been easy and I have learned a lot throughout the way. I’ve learned about love, about commitment, about morals and about creativity. I am very honored to share with you the magnificent work of 30 fans around the world in dedication for her birthday.

This year, I have asked the fans to dedicate a song. It can be a song that reminds them of Cate or a song that makes them feel as they feel when they get to watch Cate’s work. Every fan also added a short note explaining their choice.

 Cate will receive a printed edition of this project later
this year.
