I had a pet worm when I was fourteen but I didn’t know how to take care of it since apparently they don’t eat “magic sand” (even if you mix a little real dirt in there) so it died a few weeks after I caught it. In my grief I wanted to memorialize it so put it on a piece of cardboard with “fancy” tissue paper and used thumb tacks to pin it in place like people do when they taxidermy butterflies.

ALTI don’t think I’m as good at drawing people as that page I shared might make you think. I mean, if you draw the same thing a lot after a while you get decent at it. You have to stare at something a lot for a long time to draw it, sounds awkward to do to myself. I guess some people like doing it, right? Do people want to see me draw myself here?
I don’t know if I’m much of an artist either way, it’s just a part of the “job”

My hands are pretty much always doing something. Before it was clicking pens, tearing paper, stuff like that. Then after the warehouse they gravitated towards the marks I was given. I don’t know if I liked pressing the bruises and picking at the scabs but what I know is that everything that happened felt more real when I could physically feel it. They started fading after a few weeks but the cut on my lip was by far the thing my hands found most accessible to pick at so it is staying. (And growing! Who knew.)

Don’t worry Mr William. I don’t mind you outsourcing to Billy, he’s quite charming. Plus I diiiid ask a personal question, thanks for the thorough response! While i can imagine having a visible scar is bad for profiling in your line of work, i kinda think it probably looks cool on you.
Thanks for saying that but I don’t have a scar as much as I’ve got an open gash? Trust me you don’t want to know more. For cleaner, nicer scars- well I mean, you should see the other guy.
Some people still wear face masks around here so I can get away with covering half my face with one in public! And people who see me in my line of work don’t really get a good look at me :)

I’ve never done a side gig as a tattoo artist or tattooed real breathing human skin other than my own. Someone asked me about tattooing them once but it didn’t go anywhere, actually that unofficial business venture almost got me in trouble.
I looked into tattooing, browsed the “How To” books, “DIY at-home tattooing” forums, stuff like that. I knew I wanted to get my dad’s name on me since I was 13, but I didn’t get started until I was in my twenties when I got my hands on a tattoo gun. I tested a smaller design near the spot I wanted it just to see how it’d heal, after a few months without major problems I felt confident enough to tattoo his name myself.
I also have an infinity symbol from a stick and poke when I was 15 but we don’t have to talk about that one.

I’m not much of a slapper but I think you could make a sexy vampire costume without spending all your money. Y'know thrifting, repurposing, those were sort of my go-to when I wanted to make a “costume” of my own
