maybe not unhinged- but put your shoes and outside clothes on when you have to do a task. don’t take off your shoes or put on your house clothes/pj’s if right away when you get home bc you’ll want to be comfy.

if you have a backpack you take to work or something, and its not too heavy, put that on/keep that on so youre in Doing Shit Mode ™

then when the task is done you can get comfy.

i sometimes call them my “thinking shoes” they are just my regular shoes, i just wanted to put them on to help me be more focused while i helped with chores

Trust Allah’s Plan - including His timing

libraford:

Once you start thinking about humans as a species in a biome, it affects your entire way of looking at normal things.

The other day I referred to female morning joggers as an ‘indicator species’ in that if you see women jogging in the dark it means that the environment provides migration pathways (sidewalks, clear signs) and doesn’t have any known predators of female morning joggers (guy with knife, bear, BigTruck, male morning joggers).

Though, I think that people consider framing humans as animals reacting to their environment as rude.

For old times sake is actually such a heartbreaking and beautiful sentiment. Like, let’s do it for the love that used to be here. It is reason enough.
