A billboard from the 70s archives. Timely today in Washington.
i for one support american men dying horribly gruesome deaths getting devoured by The Contraption in factories
I shopped at Victoria's Secret for the first time recently and now I'm a fan. That brand has stuff to answer for, definitely.
But.
I have kinda a weird bra size, and it's usually very hard to find in stores. I've only ever bra shopped at Target and Macy's, where the racks that claim to be my size are full of another size that will not work on me. Bra shopping sucks, and I only have a few bras that mostly work.
At VS, it was not so. There were drawers and racks full of my size. Nothing was mislabeled. I tried on four bras and three of them fit flawlessly (the one that didn't worked about as well as the bras I got at Target, but in comparison to the other three it was trash). Never have I ever had such a high success rate when bra shopping. Only bought one, because it's expensive, but it was a magical experience.
Bras are almost inherently uncomfortable, but not this one. What sorcery is this?
ughh i also have trouble finding bras that fit but i refuse to buy expensive fancy ones. i had been wearing d cups for a long time and finally admitted to myself that i may need to move up to dd but even that may be too small…please i don’t want to be in one piece character territory 😭
✨ wising you a great day

My mom is always falling for fake news and AI slop on Instagram 😭 she just told me Taylor and Travis are having a baby
ugh nooo that’s horrible. i feel like many middle aged people fall for that stuff
P!nk was so far ahead of the curve.
Hey girl. Your airport outfit doesn’t show your spirit. I can tell you put too much thought into it possibly even drew inspiration from TikTok and Pinterest. Your heart was not built for this. Your soul is weighted down and tainted.
Re ms roan's comments about motherhood, I don't think the pushback is so much about the usual reaction to childgree women as it is specifically her just coming off of being completely unpleasant?
Like, this is just based on that one subreddit's reaction to it but they seemed more pissed that 1) she's judging so-called friends about it because they're naturally just tired (kids are hard and it's the no. 1 reason I don't want any), and 2) she's projecting her experience onto the general population in a way that comes across terribly.
Like, I get annoyed at people getting into my business when it comes to kids, but as someone committed to being kid-free, even I was annoyed by how she talked about it because everything she says just comes across badly.
i think that is true but i also think the reaction may have been exacerbated by society’s hatred of childfree women
How does me jerking off to MILFs / older women affect society lmao
Not every guy is your creepy groomer boyfriend from highschool
i never said there was anything wrong w being attracted to older women, but the fact that the term milf is so normalized is literally an example of how porn affects the way society in general sees women lol.
also i love how men love to (incorrectly) assume that every feminist’s opinions comes from one specific negative experience with men and not just…observing the way the world works.
If u don’t want anything more about chaperone in your inbox I understand especially bc I think she’s going to have multiple points where she puts her foot in her mouth, but I gotta say that the shit she’s getting over her motherhood comments is so annoying. The internet has a moral panic at least three times a year about women who “hate children” (progressives are included in this) and have the audacity to state that they don’t think motherhood is actually all that it’s cracked up to be and I’m so over it. I’m sure she could’ve worded her statement better as she’s known to put her foot in her mouth (don’t get me started on the ‘both parties are transphobic’ thing) but I simply can’t be bothered to care especially when the internet thinks that child free women who don’t like or want kids are the main perpetrators of child abuse and not, idk, parents themselves.
agreed! out of all the things she said in that interview, that was the one i thought was the most fine? like yeah she may have worded it badly but i have no problem with childfree women being a bit snarky, esp considering all the shit they are given from all sides. really my only gripe is she is giving childfree women a bad name by getting associated with her and her making almost constant faux pas these days.
Ok now that it's becoming relatively safe to be annoyed with Ms Chappelle: can we stop calling her a drag queen? Where is the cross dressing. You're wearing costumes. Really awesome costumes, imo. But you're not cross dressing. If Chappell is ""''""in drag"""""" and goes to a place where drag is illegal, she's not in danger. At all. No one is calling Lady Gaga or Madonna a drag queen. So Chappell will survive.
afab people who claim to be doing drag (as queens) are some of the most annoying people on earth. you’re performing femininity is what you are doing. part of the appeal of drag imo is the transformation and disguise of it all, which is why my 6’3” cis male friend with obvious male features in cheap makeup and homemade dresses will always be a more interesting drag queen than any afab “queen,” no matter how rich and famous.
and yes, i get that chappell’s performance of femininity is drag inspired and over exaggerated. it still isn’t drag. if she wants to do drag she can put on some leather and a fake mustache. but that would be actually engaging with *lesbian* culture, which seems to be unacceptable or impossible for the midwest princess.
I used to be very into anime when I was younger, but there’s so much weird pedophilia shit with underage characters and its annoying how it gets overlooked/forgiven because its Japan and weebs don’t want to offend Japanese culture. When its just male manga writers being gross and perverted because manga written by women never have weird sexualization of minors
i’m still into anime/manga now, and while i agree that theres a lot of gross shit, it defo isn’t as ubiquitous as most think. i think there are some male artists who keep it classy, and almosy all of the female ones do. frieren is a recent example of a beautiful and nearly fan service-free manga. idk if the author is male or female tho i think the artist is a woman.
