Community, the Common Good, and the Unencumbered Self Catus Brooks

This paper works hard to outline the traditions of communitarian and liberal justice. The finding is that communitarian ethics apply when political ethics of generosity should be maintained. The who is a problem with the current literature, but an early examination suggests that possibly the who should really be the generous person or counsel that benefits the common good, and I affirm generous as good in itself, and not conditional like some strategic generosity that is sometimes censured.
