Use of AI in health industry

Health service is a very important issue in any society. To increase the quality of services and reduce costs, AI use could be an important way to achieve this goal. AI techniques can help physicians, in different areas like interoperating radiography pictures, surgical robots, for operations assistance and mobility robots to assist patients with movement difficulty. For issuing purchasing quantity and when to issue the orders AI algorithms are very useful. AI programs are also used to help diagnose illnesses; Watson IBM system, from blood test and radiography pictures. Using biological systems for human, animals and plants, AI systems could be developed to help produce medicine and vaccines for different illnesses, decreasing the human tests.

Abstract: AI, surgical robots, blood test, biological systems, radiography pictures. As a computer programmer, we think that artificial intelligence and its application are based on a reliable database and information derived from the data contained in the database. This data should be checked for validity for its correctness in several ways. Our inspiration from a health artificial intelligent system given by figure 1: Health center Treatment units Prevention units Support units Research and developments units Figure 1: Graphical representations of AI system in a health system. Fortunately, artificial intelligence is used in various units of advanced medical centers to advance the affairs of that unit and this is being developed. In this section, we should not only concentrated on consider advanced treatment units in developed countries, because there are countries where there are still no doctors in remote areas, so we need to design and use health AI systems according to the need of countries. Treatment units In treatment units many research could be conducted to increase treatment quality. 1. Improvement in radiography unit. Use of AI programs to assist the physicians in their Diagnosis. 2. Use of robots to assist surgeons and to assist Patients with mobility problems. 3. Using AI software to help diagnose illness from blood test parameters, radiography pictures and other tests; Watson IBM medical system. 4. Online AI software on Cell phones to assist health practitioner to treat patients, where appropriate. 5. Use of Cell phone accessories to measure and record health parameters to assist physicians, and patients. Supports units This units could include: 1. Purchase and supply unit is to purchase required goods by means of monitoring their quality and costs inquired. 2. Storage of goods should be in the manner that is required, medical goods may need to be kept in proper temperature, and other considerations should be met. 3. The quality and size of the goods could be monitored by digitized barcode system in order to place order for next batch to be ordered. 4. Monitoring the quality of the medical and other goods visual sensing could be used by means of picture sensing algorithms. Prevention units Many researches can be done in the prevention unit, which include the proper nutrition of sick or healthy people on the border of the disease. 1. A form of a therapeutic diet accordingto their bodies needs bloodtests form ,inerals vitamins, etc., this study could be conducted in hospitals for patients and hospital health partitioners and other employees. 2. Another important topic of the prevention unit is the monitoring of bacteria, viruses and microbes in health and public centers, which is possible through artificial intelligence and various sensors, and use of special treatments to reduce these pollutions. 3. Monitoring of plants and animals are also very important, because their diseases effects livings and environment. 4. Disposable sheets could be used to reduce spread of the clothes of patients and health staff can be disposable. Research and development units Research and development units are very important the followings are the areas that could be extended: 1. The use of AI software human body model could reduce tests of new medicines and drugs on human being and animals. 2. The use of similar models for developing medicine for plants and animals is possible. Discussion To improve health quality, it is useful to create AI systems for improvement of quality of treatments. In our opinion it is not important how the AI program is designed and what programming language is used to design it as long as software is user friendly and could be installed on Cell phones and Personal computers and the software correctness and efficiency should be examined by physicians and their teams.
