This paper reports on the interfacial behaviour of block and graft copolymers used as compatibilizers in immiscible polymer blends. A limited residence time of the copolymer at the interface has been shown in both reactive blending and blend compatibilization by preformed copolymers. Polystyrene (PS)/polyamide6 (PA6), polyphenylene oxide (PPO)/PA6 and polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA)/PA6 blends have been reactively compatibilized by a styrene‐maleic anhydride copolymer SMA. The extent of miscibility of SMA with PS, PPO and PMMA is a key criterion for the stability of the graft copolymer at the interface. For the first 10 to 15 minutes of mixing, the in situ formed copolymer is able to decrease the particle size of the dispersed phase and to prevent it from coalescencing. A La Tène period logboat from Šamorín. In the article we present preliminary results of research of a logboat housed in the Žitný Ostrov Museum in Dunajská Streda. According to our research the boat comes from the 3 rd century or later part of the last third of 1 st millennium cal BCE. It is the earliest chronometrically dated vessel countrywide and the second specimen of Late Iron Age logboats known from Slovak and Czech Republics.

V článku sú predstavené výsledky pedagogického výskumu zameraného na zistenie používania hry ako vyučovacej metódy vo fyzike a na identifikovanie faktorov ovplyvňujúcich používanie, resp. nepoužívanie hier učiteľmi fyziky nižšieho a vyššieho sekundárneho vzdelávania. V rámci výskumu boli zisťované a porovnávané postoje učiteľov, ktorí sa vyjadrili, že hru vo vyučovaní používajú a učiteľov, ktorí hru neoznačili ako nimi používanú vyučovaciu metódu. Výsledky výskumu poskytujú východiská pre tvorbu didaktických hier, ktoré budú reflektovať potreby, očakávania a obavy učiteľov, čo umožní širšie a efektívnejšie používanie hry ako vyučovacej metódy v prírodovednom vzdelávaní.

The paper presents results of a long-term observation focused on the growth of two selected fir-beech stands in the area of the Eastern Carpathian Mountains, which were established in the past to investigate the effect of different management treatments on the growth and structure of the stands. Attention was paid to changes in the tree species proportion, vertical and horizontal structure, the quantitative production and dead wood. The results of the monitoring of approximately 60-year stands development suggested a reduction of the fir proportion and an increase proportion of beech and maple in the natural conditions. Production characteristics (wood stock, above ground biomass, carbon stock, and dead wood) have reached higher values on the control area. The results suggested that the close-to-nature management of these forest stands has a beneficial effect on their structure and overall development.
