England Says (Solo Edition): Reviewing Nature-Violence Matrix By Annesha Kar Gupta Issue: Nothing is offence unless the dominant force of the country enacts any law to punish that particular act. When spiritual laws can be materialized then the material universe will decrease crime. If every legislation fulfills the spiritual material universe categories then that society will decrease crime dramatically. The Nature-Violence Matrix: In this article, I am discussing the theory of Thomas Aquinas in light of Nature-Violence Matrix. Thomas Aquinas divided law n four sectors, ie     Eternal Law-Universe governed or divine reason; Divine law-Revealed from God to man; Natural Law-Human reason and freewill; Human Law-Rules, regulations, using reasons, deduced from natural law. Natural law defines divine and eternal law and materializes those through human laws. Application of the Nature-Violence Matrix: Natural law means accepting things are as they are. Every natural being has unique personality which is different than one other. Adapting their nature is the problem for which crime increases. When social culture forces one to change their nature as per condition of the particular society rather accepting the nature of the human as they are and if the human fail to accept that forced or suggested change then this is raise violence within and they start injuring either individuals or community. When their injuring become uncomfortable to the ruling class then they criminalize that particular act. In this situation no one will consider the victimhood of the offender that makes him a criminal. If that human being is punished in this situation then his soul will never forget violence. Violence will be stored in their gene and that will reflect through biological violence at their next birth. Light does not come from within rather it come from without. Reasons and investigations are will of law that guide us and govern us because our conscious mind answers to law without. Law without means morality or accountability or conscious within that answers to law without because our nature is intelligent enough to understand what is expected from us and expectations are same for what is expected from us what we are expecting which are as follows: 1. Unity; integrity: The unity is not easy to build. Here problem starts that whatever you have or your society have to offer that you have to accept and cherish. However, what about the desire of that human being who wants more from the society? When they failed to get their basic desires and forced to accept that what they are not then they start injuring individuals or community which we call crime. 2. Increase; growth; weaknesses: Every legislation must consider how their legislating Act can increase personal growth and reduce weaknesses from their society. It is the duty of the legislature because they fix problems of their society by legislating laws. 3. Actualization; realization; rest in perfection: When a human reach self-actualization then they hardly get involve into criminal activities means injuring someone else. They at that time will focus on their life and career for more advancement. Although exception is present in every society. So it is required for every legislation to promote actualization of the society in rem or people in personam where applicable. 4. Passivity or acceptance; weaknesses; sanctification or declaring something Holy: Every human being is different than others. It is required to accept their needs, desires and required to legislate such type of legislation that will bring something holy for the society in rem or people in personam where applicable. 5. Imagining thoughts of exercise under responsibility; victory over evil: When individual have responsibilities for them then they start imagining or take creative initiatives for better advancement. Every legislation must consider whether the enacted law is promoting responsibility and flexibility for the concerned members to start creativity or not. 6. Life labour or work; service: Work or service is not always for earning. So no one should be in such a possession where they are forced to earn to earn their livelihood. Talent goes lost in this way. It is the duty of the legislature to uplift the society that anyone can live their life freely chosen in their way so that they can leave something as their work for the society. 7. Reward: Legislation become reward to the individual or the society and that pull the nation forward automatically when all the abovementioned applications are fulfilled through the enacted legislation. In conclusion, we can conclude by saying that legislation is the key to decrease or increase of crime.
