In 21st century Africa, the Pentecostalism movement has demonstrated its unique characteristics in contrast to Euro-American Pentecostalism or any other form of Pentecostalism that has been witnessed on the global scene. In this article, I refer to it as Afro-Pentecostalism without any intended bias to those who may not prefer Afro as its prefix, as I consider its uniqueness as deserving of a unique recognition. In its hypothetical setting, the article resists placing Afro-Pentecostalism in either of the three traditional so-called historical categorisations of Pentecostalism (Neo-Pentecostal independent groups with prophets and apostles as their leaders; the classical Pentecostal movement that grew out of the 19th century Holiness Movement in the United States, and puts more emphasis on the baptism of the Holy Spirit; and the charismatic movements that have been in existence since the 1960s)-despite their huge differences. As a historical treatise, this article seeks to demonstrate that Afro-Pentecostalism, largely a blending of the three categorisations and indeed the fourth categorisation, is not necessarily keen on the three categorisations and strongly builds more on the commonalities rather than on its divergences. Appealing to the African ethos of wholeness stands out as the common denominator to which this article has given more attention. The mercurial characteristics among the various strands of Afro-Pentecostalism are certainly key concerns in this presentation. The methodology in this article includes interviews with selected people who are connected to this topic, participant observation, and an extensive review of relevant literature.

The theory of AI Legal Realism posits that, in contemporary legal contexts, judicial, administrative, and legislative authorities are increasingly turning to artificial intelligence (AI) systems to assist or even partially replace their interpretative judgments. This shift signifies a profound transformation in the role of legal theory, which is opposite elements from American, Genoese, and Scandinavian legal realism to comprehend AI's expanding influence on legal practice. American legal realism, emphasizing the variability and subjectivity of judicial decisions influenced by judges' attitudes and social contexts, contrasts with AI systems' structured and supposedly unbiased interpretations. Genoese realism, which acknowledges the plurality of normative criteria and the complexity of legal interpretation, finds a new dimension in AI's ability to consolidate diverse normative factors into standardized interpretive frameworks. Scandinavian realism, focusing on the psychological and social realities that shape legal norms, is recontextualized as AI systems mold legal professionals' psychological orientation towards reliance on AI-generated interpretations. By analyzing these different schools of realism, AI Realism explores how AI might fundamentally redefine interpretative processes in law. Furthermore, AI Realism investigates the implications of this shift for legal predictability, the balance of power within the judiciary, and the broader ethical and philosophical questions surrounding the integration of AI into legal decision-making processes. This theory aims to provide a comprehensive framework for understanding the evolving dynamics of legal interpretation in the age of artificial intelligence and create a new school of legal philosophy.
The Routledge Handbook of Phenomenology of Mindfulness, 2024
This chapter models an approach to the phenomenological study of practitioners' experiences of mindfulness meditation. I draw primarily upon Husserl and Fink's phenomenological philosophy and the existential phenomenological method of qualitative research in psychology that originated at Duquesne University in the 1960's. The mindfulness practice examined is that of "meditative remembrance" or silent dhikr originating in classical Sufism, as practiced within a contemporary, traditionally authorized Sufi lineage. This study examines dhikr as a distinct form of mindfulness meditation, exemplifying how phenomenology can explore the meanings of meditators' narratives. In parallel I seek to convey the relevance of Husserl and Fink's exploration of self and world-constitution for the study of meditation: in particular, phenomenology's retracing of the generative flow of constituting consciousness which underlies-and is in a certain sense prior to-the personal ego.
This paper present a study of characteristics of the radiation from a coaxial waveguide as an antenna and a short backfire antenna (SBFA) fed by this coaxial waveguide. It is shown that the performance of such antenna is preferable in comparison with that fed by a circular waveguide, and a good agreement has been obtained between the predicated results and those reported by other research workers. * ﺍﻟﻌﺭﺍﻕ ، ﺍﻟﺒﺼﺭﺓ ، ﺍﻟﺒﺼﺭﺓ ﺠﺎﻤﻌﺔ ، ﺍﻟﻌﻠﻭﻡ ﻜﻠﻴﺔ ، ﺍﻟﻔﻴﺯﻴﺎﺀ ﻗﺴﻡ ** ﺍﻟ ﻜﻠﻴﺔ ، ﺍﻟﻔﻴﺯﻴﺎﺀ ﻗﺴﻡ ﺘﺭﺒﻴﺔ ﺍﻟﺒﺼﺭﺓ ﺠﺎﻤﻌﺔ ، ﺍﻟﻌﺭﺍﻕ ، ﺍﻟﺒﺼﺭﺓ ، ﺍﻟﺨﻼﺼﺔ ﻤﻨﻔﺭﺩ ﻜﻬﻭﺍﺌﻲ ﻤﺤﻭﺭﻱ ﻤﻭﺠﺔ ﺩﻟﻴل ﻤﻥ ﻟﻜل ﺍﻟﻤﻨﺒﻌﺙ ﺍﻹﺸﻌﺎﻉ ﻟﺨﺼﺎﺌﺹ ﻨﻅﺭﻴﺔ ﺩﺭﺍﺴﺔ ﺍﻟﺒﺤﺙ ﻴﺘﻨﺎﻭل ﺒ ﻤﺜﺎﺭ ﻗﺼﻴﺭ ﻋﻜﺴﻲ ﻭﻫﻭﺍﺌﻲ ﻬﺫﺍ ﺍﻟﺩﻟﻴل . ﺃﻅﻬﺭﺕ ﻫﺫ ﻩ ﺒﺎﻥ ﺍﻟﺩﺭﺍﺴﺔ ﺃﺩﺍﺀ ﺍﻟﺒﺤﺙ ﻗﻴﺩ ﺍﻟﻬﻭﺍﺌﻲ ﺃﻓﻀل ﻤـﻊ ﻤﻘﺎﺭﻨﺔ ﺒﺩﻟﻴل ﻴﺜﺎﺭ ﻋﻨﺩﻤﺎ ﺍﻟﻬﻭﺍﺌﻲ ﻨﻔﺱ ﻤﻭﺠﺔ ﺃ ﺴﻁﻭﺍﻨﻲ . ﻨ ﻜﺎﻨﺕ ﻤﺘﻁﺎﺒﻘﺔ ﺍﻟﺒﺤﺙ ﺘﺎﺌﺞ ﺇﻟﻰ ﺍﻟﻨﻅﺭﻴـﺔ ﺍﻟﻨﺘﺎﺌﺞ ﻤﻊ ﻜﺒﻴﺭ ﺤﺩ ﺒﺎﺤﺜﻴﻥ ﻗﺒل ﻤﻥ ﺍﻟﻤﻨﺸﻭﺭﺓ ﺁ ﺨﺭﻴﻥ .
The Art of the Seminar and the politics of small things, 2024
Jeffrey Goldfarb's intellectual engagement in the public sphere is rooted in his commitment to the seminar as a unique form of pedagogy, social interaction, and democratic deliberation. His skill around a table is, however, not only a craft that has been honed in the classroom; Goldfarb's art of the seminar has also travelled geographically and virtually onto various platforms. His commitment to dialogue continues to serve as a way in which individuals can engage with one another across differences. From his early fascination with conversations around kitchen tables in communist Poland to the Democracy and Diversity Summer Schools that he organised with colleagues while teaching at the New School, from the virtual forums of Deliberately Considered, Public Seminar and The Democracy Seminar to his current professorship at the American University of Afghanistan, Goldfarb invites faculty and students to engage with one another to think critically about the pressing problems of our increasingly fractured world.

Effect of education level, per capita income and consumption on economic growth in Indonesia. This study discusses macroeconomic indicators that are often found as determinants of government policies in increasing economic growth. This study uses the regression method by analyzing data on the entire population from 2010 to 2019 which seeks to find the relationship between education and economic growth, per capita income on economic growth, and consumption on economic growth. The results of the study show that all variables have a positive and significant relationship, the largest positive relationship is consumption, while the smallest positive relationship is education.
