best day ever essay

Today was one of the best days of my life. It was awesome in so many ways, that I don’t think I can describe it right. Usually my days are ok, but almost never awesome. Today marked the difference in my week. Maybe even in my whole month. It all started when my friend’s mom was driving us to a three on three basketball game that we were going to play in our town’s basketball court. We were thrilled as we looked at the other team. When we started the game my hands were shaking and I was a little nervous, but once I got the ball I knew exactly what to do with it I put up the shot and swish. I remember it so clearly we were on the court playing, I was dribbling down the smooth floor and I passed the ball to my friend. He drove up the lane and scored. We got the ball back and no own was guarding me so I put up a shot and swish, another two points. When we got the ball back I was on fire putting up shot after shot. This team was tough, and it ended up being a very close game. They tied the game up and were one shot away from winning. But the other team missed the shot and my friend grabbed the rebound and passed it to me and I made it and we won. I will never forget the happiness I felt over that victory. The guys in the other team came over to us to congratulate us. Everyone at the court started to applaud us and cheer for us. My friends and I went to eat pizza after the game. We celebrated our victory and ate pizza and talked for hours about the most awesome game of basketball we have ever played. This was definitely the best day of my life.
