Con la irrupción del Bitcoin hace diez años, el sueño cypherpunk de realizar intercambios monetarios de par a par escapando del control de todo intermediario sea una entidad financiera o sea el Estado mismo se hacía realidad. Pero más importante aún que la invención de la criptomoneda es la tecnología blockchain que la sustenta y cuyos usos se extienden a un universo mucho más amplio. A tal punto que actualmente cada vez más entidades públicas y privadas estudian que beneficios sacar de esta tecnología. El presente artículo pretende analizar el impacto que podría tener la tecnología Blockchain sobre la Argentina en un momento donde su Estado se encuentra fuertemente debilitado y más precisamente las oportunidades que ofrece esta tecnología para este último.
