Religion has captivated billions for millennia, blending divine intoxication and cathexis with a set of contradictory and complementary commandments that shape and bestow identities upon its followers. This exploration delves into the enigmatic aspects of religion, highlighting its indefinable elements such as dreams, revelations, and allegories, which sustain interpretations over time while remaining unresolved mysteries. The paper contrasts religious paradoxes with philosophical contradictions, showcasing examples like Zeno's paradox and the fate of Ahura Mazda in Iranian traditions. It examines religion's role as a complex human laboratory where the divine wisdom surpasses human understanding, influencing global socioeconomic dynamics, as exemplified by the transformation of the Kaaba. Additionally, the distinction between religious and philosophical paradoxes is explored, emphasizing the mystical elements that challenge empirical reasoning. Popular culture, as seen in "Avatar," reflects these themes, underscoring the concept of a perfect God from the beginning, complete without need for further perfection. The discussion extends to the philosophical notion of divine perfection, the interplay between the created and the teacher, and the journey towards regaining a paradisiacal state, illustrating the inherent complexity and profundity of religious truths. Through this analysis, religion emerges as a profound framework for understanding existence, identity, and the divine, continuously shaping human thought and society.

La seguridad alimentaria y nutricional (SAN) es un concepto vital porque se relaciona con la vida, los derechos humanos y la salud; sin embargo, induce a una diversidad de comprensiones y alcances pues puede ser considerada un objetivo como es el de resolver el problema del hambre y nutrición en el mundo; puede ser un fin o meta como la búsqueda de alimentos seguros, o un paradigma desde lo político, lo económico, lo social, lo cultural, lo jurídico y desde las ciencias y tecnologías vinculadas a la alimentación. Tiene un carácter multidimensional que se expresa en la distancia entre las formulaciones conceptuales en las políticas públicas nacionales e internacionales, pues depende además del contexto y las formulaciones de la academia, ya que es un concepto en continuo cambio.

Central Europe in the Iron Age a highly dynamic space and time, with extended mobility, contact networks and circulation of artefacts. So far, little attention has been given to the archaeometry of metals in the Iron Age on account of supposedly biased data due to recycling and mixing of sources. However, we believe that a large-scale sampling of copper alloys across different social and historical settings does have a great potential to give us a new and unique perspective for reviewing the traditional narration. In this paper we would like to present our project dealing with the archaeometry of coppers alloys in Central Europe between the 4th and the 1st century BC/AD. Our approaches involve bulk and trace compositions together with both common and unique isotopic or elemental tracers. Through mobility of materials and/or artefacts studied by provenance analyses and mixing models we can examine socio-economic and cultural processes behind them. Even in periods when traditional provenance questions are much more difficult to answer, we believe that even the mixing of sources tends to follow certain trends that can be traceable by available analytical methods. We would like to discuss the introduction and standardisation of different alloys, the question possibly related to the primary acquisition and/or recycling of various material sources and their changing patterns in time.

Ο Μιλτιάδης Πορφυρογένης σχημάτιζε, μαζί με τον Κώστα Καραγιώργη και τον Πέτρο Κόκκαλη, τη λαμπρή τριάδα των αστών με τις εξαιρετικές ικανότητες, οι οποίοι έθεσαν τον εαυτό τους στην υπηρεσία της «εργατικής τάξης», δηλαδή του ΚΚΕ. Ο Πορφυρογένης, όπως και ο Καραγιώργης, είχε μια στενή φιλική σχέση με τον Ζαχαριάδη, η οποία κράτησε ως τον πρόωρο θάνατό του. Το θέμα της της ανάρτησης είναι μια μεγάλη αφήγηση του Πορφυρογένη, όπως την κατέγραψε ο Γιώργος Βοντίτσος-Γούσιας. Ο Πορφυρογένης ήταν ο ίδιος συμμέτοχος-πρωταγωνιστής των γεγονότων τα οποία αφηγείται, συνεπώς η μαρτυρία του έχει ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον.
