Traditional ritual studies approaches to the body are effective for illuminating how the body functions as an entity that absorbs and expresses a variety of social, and political dynamics; however, they are less productive for understanding the body as a physical organism. This interdisciplinary thesis applies theoretical models from cognitive science, social psychology and ritual studies to the Śrī Cakra Pūjā in order to develop a more complete understanding of the ritual body as a physical body. Using Lawrence Barsalou’s theory of embodied cognition, which focuses on the impact of human experiences on the creation and integration of neural pathways, this essay, argues that Śrī Cakra Pūjā affects the mind by shaping the neural architecture of the brain. La interculturalidad en salud en America Latina supone la armonizacion, o la fusion, o la mezcla, o la complementariedad de dos culturas medicas: la tradicional indigena, que es la cultura originaria (que estaba presente cuando los europeos llegaron a America), y la occidental, que tiene el rango reconocido de cientifica. The line separating dolus eventualis, as the weaker form of intent, from culpa is a central issue within Criminal Law. In the praxis of Criminal Law, the distinction between each of these mens rea elements has an extraordinary importance. The motivation for working with this subject came from the tension between two different perspectives. One group of voluntaristic oriented authors base their distinction upon a volition. On the other side, there are authors who take a cognitivistic approach, drawing the line upon the representation of the perpetrator. In order to bring up an efficient debate, this article discusses the structure of dolus and after showing the unsustainability of a volitional concept of dolus, a cognitive proposal of dolus is presented.
