Casterle y Ca mp Decipherment Casterley Camp Decipherment (c. 2500 BC): High Father will conduct a farewell ceremony with the community circular huts and four burial mounds. The rebus of the perimeter says thousands will assemble to build houses for the Assembly Core. At the highest corner of the enclosure, a signal tower communicated with Avebury. An entry avenue flanked with sarsen stones dates the construction to c. 2500 BC, the same as Avebury and Stonehenge. Figure 2: Peasemore Enclosure. Sarsens to flank an avenue was jpopular with Bell Beaker people at the beginning of the Copper Age, 2600-2500 BC. In the center, a rectangular construction surrounds a circle 100 ft in diameter. Between Top Temple and Casterley Camp, a line of sight clears an intervening ridge by 15 m (Figure 3). It is close; if trees grew on the intervening ridge, the line of sight might be obscured.
