The disussion focuses on the burial customs as witnessed by the Aeneolithic necropolis of Selvicciola, in Central Italy. Topography and ritual stress a division of the necropolis into two sectors.
The unusual good preservation of human bones at Selvicciola aeneolithic necropolis gave the opportunity to study, beside the usual archaeological data, the taphonomy of funerary practices of the Rinaldone culture.
