Most interesting for Patočka scholars: good evidence for the view that Patočka was not much interested in the history of philosophy (and especially of the ancient philosophy) prior to his stay in Berlin 1932 - where he meets excellent representatives of contemporary mainstream (Jaeger), Neokantian (Hartmann) and Heideggerian approach (Jakob Klein), and quickly develops deep and lasting interest in ancient philosophy.
