The number of content management systems is still growing strong. And with the trend of enterprise content management buy-outs and new players in the market, the complexity of these numerous content management systems increases. A means of describing and classifying content management systems would be helpful. This article gives the ins and outs of CMSML, a markup language for content management systems provided by CM Professionals.

QMS and comply with ISO 9001:2015 What does the ISO 9001 standard tell us? 7.5.3 Control of documented information 7.5.3.1 Documented information required by the quality management system and by this International Standard shall be controlled to ensure:: a) it is available and suitable for use, where and when it is needed; b) it is adequately protected (e.g. from loss of confidentiality, improper use, or loss of integrity). 7.5.3.2 For the control of documented information, the organization shall address the following activities, as applicable: a) distribution, access, retrieval and use; b) storage and preservation, including preservation of legibility; c) control of changes (e.g. version control); d) retention and disposition. Documented information of external origin determined by the organization to be necessary for the planning and operation of the quality management system shall be identified as appropriate, and be controlled. Documented information retained as evidence of conformity shall be protected from unintended alterations. NOTE Access can imply a decision regarding the permission to view the documented information only, or the permission and authority to view and change the documented information. The requirements of the standards are very specific, but they do not tell us exactly how to comply with them for our organization. A frequent problem in organizations that are certified or implementing the ISO 9001 standard, is the control of the documents that are generated. Near-duplicate document detection is a well-known problem in the area of information retrieval. It is an important problem to be solved for many applications in IT industry. It has been studied with profound research literature. This article provides a novel solution to this classic problem. We present the problem with abstract models along with additional concepts such as text models, document fingerprints and document similarity. With these concepts, the problem can be transformed into keyword like search problem with results ranked by document similarity. There are two major techniques. The first technique is to extract robust and unique fingerprints from a document. The second one is to calculate document similarity effectively. Algorithms for both fingerprint extraction and document similarity calculation are introduced as a complete solution.
