It kind of sucks when we get a themed episode thrust upon us. Because we’re very bad at making a theme. Then someone dies and we comb over their catalog for something interesting. Which can also make for a bad episode. So we decided to do two of Val Kilmer’s lesser discussed films together. It doesn’t hurt that we’ve seen both before. That made this a bit of a refresher.

Episode 897: Spring 2025 Previews #1

This week on Anime Pulse we got graduations, Easter, and previews. Up first Joseph sounds terrible because he has a cold or something, and Andrew is curious about the worst story arcs in anime. Then in the industry news there is plenty of talk about Gura’s graduation from Hololive, and AI Ghibli art. And finally we have ventured back into previews territory with king Joseph healing his harem of monster girls after being reincarnated in another world as an old country bumpkin, and Andrew goes on a journey to become a better detective at a robo hotel.
