The APC network has 74 organisational members and 41 associates active in 74 countries.
What unifies APC members and associates is their work to promote the use of the internet for social justice and sustainable development. We work together in our mission to strengthen collective organising towards building a transformative movement to ensure that the internet and digital technologies enable social, gender and environmental justice for all people.
Our diverse membership is rooted in the global South and has played a significant and consistent role in making the voices and perspectives of marginalised communities heard in the context of digital inclusion and digital and internet rights issues and processes. Some members and associates focus on specific issues related to development or human rights, such as environmental protection, gender equality or alternative media production, and together with APC staff and other allies the network plays a strong movement-building role.
