Seven weeks ago I rescue young Silki rooster he was laying on the side in the mud.. I took him to vet after $1200 and two sets of antibiotics I’m feeding him now with a tube with vetomega, and rooster booster and probiotics mix in. he’s not able to walk initially when he was antibiotics i was hand feeding him. He was gaining weight and soon as I finished 30 days antibiotic last Sunday he’s declining fast , losing weight and acting like he wants to sleep all the time. He’s head is falling from weakness! I really want to help that little guy so much they said originally that he have E. coli .. I don’t know what else to do last seven weeks my life. It’s completely around him and frustrating that I can help him. seems like going to vet is useless too. Anyone have any ideas? He can’t walk 😭

e. Coli takes about a week to run its course, a bit longer is possible, but no way seven weeks.

30 days on antibiotics he's probably got a yeast infection/gleet. Any yellowish stinky stuff sticking to his butt? Regardless, I'd put him on probiotics. There's powders you can get for their water, like Hydro Hen is one, or Greek yogurt is good too. If you are buying any of this, also pick up some Poultry Cell vitamins. You can put that in his water every other day and alternate with the probiotics.

I'm not sure what that feed is you have for him but if it's meant for chickens, then I'd wet it and make it into a mash. He may like that better. If it's not chicken feed, an all-flock type feed would be good for him.

You're sure doing well by him though. Glad you are saving him!

How much is he eating and what are you feeding him?He would probably enjoy some egg and it would help him.
A, I was feeding him high-protein crumbles, and then special food for the sick birds avian health shake and now tube feeding with exact by Kaylee 30ml three times a day with rooster booster, and vet, omega, and probiotics mix in

Which if he does it's amazing he's still here.

Okay, I was typing and you beat me to it. So already he's getting Exact, probiotics, and rooster booster vitamins.. There isn't much more I can think of you aren't already doing.
