DIRECTOR - THE WONDERLAND EXPERIENCE
1997
I directed this ambitious micro-budget film at the age of just 26.
An 85 minute feature film drama originated on Super-16mm. Shot on Location in Southern India, it concerns a young man's search for his missing father, across beaches, through deserts, down rivers and through jungle he searches, finding love on the way. But what are these mysterious flashbacks of a trance party he keeps having?
This film was essentially a 50:50 team effort with lifelong friend, the hyper-intelligent legend, Andrew Brown.

DIRECTOR - BERLINER TRANCE
1993
I directed this documentary aged 23, on an Arriflex 16mm camera in a wintry Berlin in 1993.
It explores the origins of the German trance scene. Featuring interviews with fresh-faced selectors including Laurent Garnier and MFS Records founder Mark Reeder, the documentary also features footage from the city's iconic Love Parades in 1991 and 1993.

SCREENWRITER - BAD TRIP
2017
Channel 4s “Peep Show” meets “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”
BAD TRIP is a horror comedy set in present-day Mexico. Exclusively utilizing locations and an actual music festival, with only limited prosthetic effects, BAD TRIP is conceived as a tightly resourced, yet high production value film.
‘Found Footage’ horror is now big business, but BAD TRIP intends to be a true POV horror: the entire film is experienced from within the bodiesand through the eyes of the five protagonists. Reaping the comedy potential that this technique offers, as proven in the Channel 4 series Peep Show, as well as the fear-inducing mechanism that such a restricted viewpoint presents, BAD TRIP is a highly kinetic thrill-ride.

SCREENWRITER - NOTTING HELL
2005
A spec screenplay developed to piggy-back on the global phenomenon of Richard Curtis's "Notting Hill"
It concerns the downward spiral of a hapless chump who, upon meeting the fantasy girl of his dreams, discovers his long term love is pregnant.
Matters are complicated by the fact that he is recently tee-total, yet finds that temptation is everywhere....
