Boxer and former Love Island star Tommy Fury has posted on Instagram for the first time since his split from Molly-Mae Hague was announced. In the post, Tommy said he has been on the receiving end of false allegations since the breakup—something that he has described as “horrendous.”

The snap comes a day after Molly-Mae shared a message thanking her fans for being “the best online friends [she] could ever wish for.”

The reality star chose to upload a photo of herself looking downcast while standing on a balcony overlooking a body of water, whereas Tommy opted for a pic of himself looking despondent while tying his shoe in the gym.

“These last few weeks have been heartbreaking,” his caption begins. “The false allegations about me have been horrendous, thank you to everybody who has stood by me through this 🤍 .”

The athlete, who shares daughter Bambi with Molly-Mae, did not explicitly state what the false allegations are, but has previously addressed—via a spokesperson—the concerns that he had cheated.

Speaking to The Mirror, it is reported that his spokesperson said, “Tommy is horrified by the false allegations of cheating being circulated by the media and he’s consulting his lawyers.”

ICYMI, Tommy and Molly-Mae’s breakup was first announced on August 14, when Molly-Mae took to her Instagram Story to share that she was deeply upset by the situation.

“Never in a million years did I ever think I’d have to write this. After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way,” she wrote. “I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end.”

The reality star then added, “I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority. I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years. You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it's right to share this with you all. Whilst I attempt to navigate the coming days and weeks please kindly respect my privacy over this difficult time. I’ll be back when it feels right. Molly-Mae x.”

Later that day, Tommy also posted about the split. Ahem: “I am heartbroken that Molly & I have decided to end our relationship. The past five years have led to us having our beautiful baby girl, Bambi, and I will be forever thankful to Molly for making me a dad. Bambi is our priority. Please respect our privacy, and our families’ privacy as we navigate our way through this difficult time.”

We hope both Tommy and Molly are doing okay.
