His Friday commencement address at UCLA is off, but former President Clinton today will visit a much younger group of grads: outgoing eighth-graders from Riviera Hall Lutheran School in Torrance.

The K-8 institution rescheduled its annual advancement event to accommodate Clinton, whose nephew Tyler (son of his brother, Roger) is among the students being feted with a 4:30 p.m. private ceremony.

Only ticket holders will gain entrance to the graduation, which also has been closed to the media.

School representatives have called Clinton’s impending appearance both “exciting” and “an honor” – same as it was the first time he dropped in on the Palos Verdes Boulevard campus.

Back in 2001, Clinton arrived at the school unannounced, shocking staff and students alike when a motorcade wheeled in and Tyler, age 7 at the time, stepped out alongside the nation’s 42nd president.

Providing a perhaps-unneeded introduction, Tyler said to his fellow second-graders: “Class, this is my Uncle Bill.”

“Good morning, Uncle Bill,” they responded in unison.

At today’s event, the now-graduating Tyler is again expected to introduce his Uncle Bill.

No word whether Aunt Hillary will be in tow.
