LIVING LA DOLCE VITA

“RAVELLO IS A PRETTY TOWN THAT SITS RESPLENDENT HIGH ABOVE THE TYRRHENIAN SEA”

ITALIANS truly understand living ‘la dolce vita’, (‘the good life') – embracing the ethos of good food, good wine, being with family and friends, enjoying good health and being surrounded by beauty. Enjoying life was just the lure to sign up for a multi-day self-guided hike along the Amalfi coast in Italy.

Combining exercise, food/wine, stunning beaches and a different culture, was always on our holiday bucket list. This walk would take us the 50km length of the magnificent coastline. Starting at the hilltop town of Ravello and finishing at the seaside town of Positano with views the entire way over the sparkling Mediterranean Sea and inland to groves of olive and lemon trees and the Monti Lattari mountain range.
