    Readers find this title to be witty, realistic, and charmingly realistic. The characters feel real and the chemistry between them works incredibly well. The story is funny, cute, and tender, with amazing character development. The narrator does an excellent job, adapting the voices of the characters. The book is enjoyable, hilarious, and sweet, filled with laugh-out-loud funny moments. While there are a few minor imperfections and some teenage drama, overall, readers love this book and highly recommend it. It's a delightful, entertaining, and well-written happy love story worth reading.

      2.5 Stars.
      I didn't dislike the book as a whole. It had some funny moments. The plot idea was nice but I just didn't connect with the characters all that much. I get that both Luc and Oliver were flawed but I just didn't like them. And I didn't get attached to any of the side characters either, mostly because they lacked substance. I mean some were a bit "quirky" but even that bothered me, because I got the feeling the real people they could have 'imitated' were being made fun of.
      I guess I might have liked the book more if it didn't drag on for over 400 pages. It was way to long for to little that actually happened.

      I loved every part of it . It was so much of me there and so much of my true love finding. Can relate.

      Excellent character voices, both in the writing and voice acting sense. I felt like the author really understands the characters they created, they are all very real and getting to know each one is a joy. Luc’s personality in particular is nuisanced, I think his story is very engaging and full of wisdom for those who are open to it.

      Estuvo divertido, me encantaron los personajes, Luc (lo adore, fue cobarde, fue maduro, llego dijo verdades y se fue) 10/10 Oliver (me sacó canas los últimos caps, pero bueno, recapacitó)

      Lo mejor de todo LA NARRACIÓN, ha sido una experiencia increíble, este audiobook se convirtió en mi novela y de verdad sentía que había más de un actor de voz, creo que parte de que me gustara este libro ha sido por la actuación de voz!

      This book is SO good. It’s real and honest and so so so funny. It’s a story about two broken people putting each other back together without meaning to. The voice acting is top notch. It’s sweet and beautiful and human. I laughed and cried so hard. Highly recommend.

      Absolutely lovely! Boyfriend Material is witty, thoughtful, and has great characters. Luc starts out a complete mess with terrible self esteem, but things slowly improve. He and Oliver are good for eachother, their friends and Luc’s mom are amazing, and there’s lots of satisfying emotional development. It has one of the best first kisses ever written, and the narrator is superb—distinctly different, believable voices for every character.
      Definitely five stars.

      Enjoy every minute of reading, I mean listening to this ebook. Makes the long boring morning run/walk past much faster and more enjoyable. Love the story and the narrator is funny as hell. Recommended highly is you’re a believer of impossible messy romantic endings.

      Boring teenage drama with ever-brooding characters. I finished it only because I was on a plane with nothing better to do.
      Oliver's voice and intonation were extremely unlikable. It reminded me of Bus Rodent (aka guy with crooked teeth) from Fleebag.

      I mostly want to say, wonderful. Witty, sensitive, exciting and touching. In the moments when I had to stop listening I waited to go back and listen. And the narrator does a wonderful job. The women are a little weak with him, but the men are great. warmly recommended. I'll be back again.
