      Beautiful and charming! And maybe my favourite. Somehow manages to be cozy and haunting at the same time.

      Love this story as well. I wouldn’t mind being a tiger bride hahahahahaha. As a cat lady… tigers are just a bigger cat. Anyway, same narrator as the previous book. Love her voice. So on to the 3rd book!

      When The Tiger Came Down The Mountain ? ? ? ? /5 Currently rounding this up to 4 star, but im not sure its its a 4 or a 3.5. I loved the first book in this series so had high hopes for this one, and sadly it just didnt work for me aswell. There was a lot I liked about this one however I dunno why, but the story just never connected with me. It was a very fast read, so I'll give it that, but I just was a little let down by this.

      Really engaging story and easier to follow than the last. The storytelling is great and I love how we get two versions of the tale as we read along.

      A good story set in the same world. Has a great set up with the Tigers and their relationships with humans. Again, the topic of strong women, their relationships to each other, loyalty, history. A good mix and a rather enjoyable world of fantasy.

      This was another great story. It held my interest the whole time and I couldn’t wait to get back to my crocheting project just so I would have an excuse to sit and listen to this book.

      Really loved the way the narrator read it, the slight changes in the depth of their voice helped a bit with the differentiation of speakers. The storytelling is very much like the old tales I was told when i was young and having the corrections come along with it is something i loved a lot. Was a little confused with the names since too many were introduced in such a short span, but i understand given that that wasn't too important. Truly captivating and had me at attention from start to finish.

      Somewhat entertaining but written to sound like an old tale, as a result theres a bunch of redundancy to an allready short tale.
      Characters felt extremely flat and the reader basically whispered 75% of the book.

      An ok listen if you just need something you don't have to listen to attentivley to on your commute.
