    Goodkind was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, where he also attended art school, one of his many interests on the way to becoming a writer. Besides a career in wildlife art, he has been a cabinet maker, violin maker, and he has done restoration work on rare and exotic artifacts from around the world. In 1983 Goodkind moved to the forested mountains he loves. There, in the woods near the ocean, he built the house where he and his wife, Jeri, live, and came at last to tell his own stories.

      The recording skipped, a lot. I listen at 1.2 speed and the reading skipped huge passages, example: character A is reading this, character B jumped from the roof. .... but what happened to A? Also when paused/stopped the narrator would jump to a different passage, sometime further in the book, sometimes what he just read. The counter would show a progressing but the reader went back two chapters. Huge chunks of the story were missing. How did they get the book, he wanted it and certain death was coming but no let’s talk about a different character and they have the book ... what?!?
      I don’t know if this is an app problem or just a problem with this book... however Scribed has skipped huge sections of other books I’ve listened to.

      This is probably the 5th time I have read or listened to this series of books. I would highly recommend it.

      Just relistening some of the best fantasy stores I read in the nineties. This saga is definately that list.
