She has had poetry and short stories published over the years. JoAn left her home town to pursue a nursing career. She graduated from college in 1957. Following college, she traveled in Europe and visited many of the French, German, and Spanish Castles to be seen there. Always enticed by the magical stories of the fairy tale castles, she dreamed of writing about them. However, writing was “put on hold” to raise her family. Now, as a grandmother of 3 beautiful granddaughters and a great grandson...she decided to fulfill her dream.
