I spent my childhood and adolescence in Oshawa, Ontario. I graduated from Ottawa University School of Medicine Ottawa Ontario after a year of internship at Ottawa general Hospital in 1951.I did postgraduate residency training in internal medicine at Sisters Hospital in Buffalo, Gallinger Municipal Hospital in D.C., and Boston City Hospital in Boston.I became a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1959. I became a Fellow of the American College of Physicians in1977. I was in medical practice for 49 years in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia areas until I retired in December 1999. I married Dr. Maurice Capone in 1954. I have six children: Maurice, Marcus, Matthew, Martha, Michael, and Martin. My husband died in 2000. During retirement I spent time gardening ,stamp collecting, coin collecting, and landscape painting.view less
