As I write this, I am forty-three years old, and I’ve had a lifetime of experiences! I was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas. I had an accident in 1979. I was run over by a delivery truck and had a lot of problems. The doctors said I wouldn’t be able to walk, talk, or see again if I made it out of the emergency room. Well, I can walk and talk, and as far as seeing, well, a friend of mine says I’m temporarily blind Monday through Friday, nine-to-five. LOL!
I graduated from the Arkansas School for the Blind in 1992. I then went to the University of Central Arkansas and graduated with a fine arts and communication degree with a minor in special education in 1997. Thanks to my teachers and professors. Because of you, I had the fortitude to put out this book. I am currently working on my autobiography and hope to have it out soon. To my friends and family, thank you for the support and the checks in the mail. A special thanks goes out to MOM, Teresa Lovern. MOM, it would take a book to explain all the things that I could thank you for. By the way, MOM means “maker of miracles.”view less
